We are an athletic club established over 100 years ago, affiliated to England Athletics for all athletic activities, including track& and field, cross country running and road running.
We are based at the Oval Sports Centre in Bebington where we hire the track&field facilities for the use of our members every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening. We have about 400 members affiliated to compete, male and female, two thirds of whom are under 20.
We are the only athletic club on the Wirral involved in track and field athletics, competing in the national league structure from the under 13 age group to senior. We enter teams in all age groups to the full range of Cross Country Championships and Road Relays Championships from local to national level. Our qualified coaches are DBS checked and cove the full range of athletic events.

Vision
Wirral Athletic club is a not for profit organisation run entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers and we are proud of how, through hard work, Wirral AC has become as a hub of opportunity for everyone.
Aim
The club provides the framework to support those athletes, coaches, officials and other volunteers who actively engage to develop the club, the wider community and themselves to achieve all they can.
