Wirral AC Throws

Throws covers Javelin, Shot putt, Hammer and Discus.

We also offer a development pathway for those throwers who have chosen this as their preferred discipline.   We enter local competitions and throwers are a crucial part of the club’s Youth Development Leagues (YDL) and Senior leagues teams.  Regional and national competitions are also available.

For those just starting out we encourage our younger athletes to ‘come and have a go at a throw’ perhaps alongside their favourite discipline.

Wirral AC throws is a friendly and approachable group who work closely with the other programmes within the club.
